International Neuroethics Society (INS) & Società Italiana di Neuroetica (SINe)
📅 April 15–17, 2026
📍 Stanford (California, USA) · Lucca (Tuscany, Italy) · Stellenbosch (Western Cape, South Africa)
The Italian Society for Neuroethics (SINe) is proud to co-organize Neuroethics 2026, the annual meeting of the International Neuroethics Society (INS) — an international conference dedicated to exploring the ethical, legal, social, and policy implications of neuroscience and neurotechnology.
For the first time, the event will be held simultaneously across multiple global locations — at Stanford University (USA), the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy), and Stellenbosch University (South Africa) — with opportunities for virtual participation connecting all regional hubs.
Theme: Building Bridges and Cultivating Community
The 2026 meeting celebrates the importance of building connections across distances, disciplines, and perspectives, while fostering respect, collaboration, and inclusion in the global neuroethics community.
The theme — Building Bridges and Cultivating Community — invites participants to discuss how advancements in brain sciences and neurotechnologies intersect with lived human experiences, influence societies, and shape ethical and policy frameworks. The conference will bring together researchers, clinicians, technologists, policymakers, caregivers, and advocates from around the world to strengthen a shared commitment to ethical, equitable, and culturally sensitive practices.
